hi lads, like me some of you lads mite have purchase the sunset impact 14ft, with suncast adn f/s reel from gerrys, £189. On loading it up with new line and leader , i found that the line was not reaching the top of the spool leaving a lip thus cut down casting distance,not wanting to mess returned it to gerrys, where the very help lads removed a washer under the spool, job done backhome to fleetwood, line off and back on,did not cure the problem, still not taking the line to the top of the spool leaving a lip. back to gerrys. only to be told its fault he with the reel and was the second one returned today, they have had few back, exchanged it for the sunray 8008,great reel, thankyou the lads at gerrys for your help, please check yours lads if you have one.
