The site North west donkers, used to hold "Donks", it was basically a meet up. Originally the rules of the site were you had to attend a donk to get onto the site.

Not heard much of them for a while, dunno if its still going? ???

Thyere still going, I think it came from when a group of them were originally having a session somewhere like the Gynn and one lad was blasting his radio out with 'Put a Donk on it' by (I think) the Blackout crew :doh: It kinda stuck as a theme and so any get togethers became known as 'Donks' after the notorious meet ruining (depending on your standpoint on the song!) song. So its peculiar to a group known as 'North West Donkers' , an invitation only closed site group of, for the main part, fairly advanced anglers (and a few brilliant nutters) :thumb:

Met some NW Donkers at Barnsfold last year,only went over chatting to them because they were all supping from AA mugs.
