Well braved the cold last night in search of a few whiting, got set up about 21:30 see if my pics work.
Base camp
The fishing was slow to say the least, 2 rods 3 hooks on each rod baited with a combination of 10 day old blacks a mackerel thats been in the freezer for 12 month my last half dozen fresh crab. An hour in and 2 tiny nibbles to show for it, then another bite which i connected with and this
They put up one hell of a fight on the 14' tng rubber shark. As i set them free i got a nibble on the other rod which resulted in another rockling which must of pushed the scales to 2-3oz. Too be honest it wasnt that bad of a night cold wise other than my tootsies. Bailed out just after high water with a fish tally of 3 weighing no more than 12oz.

I always dread it when I reel in a rockling, it usually means the bigger fish aren't out and about on the prowl still at least you got out and gave it a go
Good report and thanks for sharing

Make a difference - take home one piece of someone's angling litter next time you are out fishing
