Sat on a beach 17/9/16

Had a change of mark today with it being a decent tide , only fished it once before as it is a big tide venue . Got there with the water still out in the bay but it was soon in to the beach and i was joined by Craggers . Channel that was there has now filled in so didn`t expect too much and was hoping that the odd plaice might make it that far , an hour or so in a couple of pull downs and a :fish: was on , a nice fat flounder , later while having a natter i looked round and saw a slack line , picked up and reeled into it and it felt decent staying down and giving a bit of a scrap , could it be - well it was round and a couple of foot long and silver but it was an eel , don`t mind the bigger ones as they don`t tend to tangle the rigs up unlike the little beggers .
So that was it , a short session in the sun with a flounder and an eel in a nice easy location , will give it a go again .
