North wall 15th December
Well after persuading the other half to let me have my Christmas prezzies early . A sonik sk3 5-7oz and an Abu chrome rocket I thought I better go check them out so I set off to the GNW fully expecting to make a birds nest as I've never fished with a multiplier from the beach before.I arrived at the wall at 10.45 and was set up 10 minutes later an hour and half before high tide so with all 6 brake blocks engaged I was ready to cast
Next three casts three tiny flatties
Then nothing after high tide gave up about 2:45 had a really good day enjoyed using my new rod and reel going to disengage a couple of brake blocks for the next session and see what happens
.
and all went well just a simple over head cast nothing complicated I was we'll chuffed no birds nest bait used was blow lug and frozen black first cast a tiny whitingNext three casts three tiny flatties

Stevie P ,
nice to meet you today. Always good to have a chat even when I can't make it fishing.
Some nice dabs and whiting there to christen the new gear, and a rainbow and a West Highland Scottie in the same photo is a top 'double header'.
Good luck with the new beach fishing - hope to see you on one of the night tides.
