Great post Rushy! you truly deserve the nickname Squidworth!
as most have said they haven't fished this mark in ages, last time I fished here was around 1980!
I'm looking forward to trying this area out once the snow goes! x

You could always climb up the old stantion at the end Kev in the crows nest.

I did that as a kid when I was 13 with a mate I shudder to think about the stuff we used to get up to the tide run was horrendous and I remember a shrimper going past shouting we were 'mad buggers' we caught two flounders someone grassed me up to my mum and my old man gave me a right hiding eeh the good old days

I was saying to someone the other day how when i was 9 or 10 i used to go out digging blow lug then fish high on the Grosvenor stretch... virtually every day in the summer hols, on my own some days or with my mate who was the same age....
Kept us out of mischief (sometimes)
You wouldn't dream about it nowadays, and that was only 20 years ago....

I remember back in the 70s digging rag on Grosvenor skeer.it started getting a bit dark,and Sharkey invited me me to dig with him in the light of his tilley,What an Honour
