Morecambe golf club 14 Dec
High tide 11:50 ish. Baits in at 11 and last cast 01:30
Took my dad down to fish golf club Middle lifebelt mark.
Having to cast for him after an opp.
Very coloured water and wavy though surprisingly not much weed.
Had to use 170g leads to hold bottom as current was pulling upstream as well as the wind.
I blanked but dad pulled out a little flattie which was a great end to a bad week for him.
He fished 2 hook flapper rig with spoons and frozen black mac cocktail
I just went for a Big Mac bait on a size 3 Penney pulley rig. First time I've fished that and it cast great when clipped down.
Got cold when the hail started but watching the wave shapes change and develop was somehow primeval. We had a great couple of hours together and I learned how to cast his rod. I was surprised just how much welt you can give these beachcaster rods even with a red lead on.
Tight lines to all.

Its Nice that you took you old man out for a go esp after what seems like a crap week for him. I keep trying to get my dad to come out with me but he just says no he doesn't see the point in looking at a fishing rod for a few hours....If only he knew!
Nice report
Cheers
