WiganPete have you considered joining a club? I'm in Blackpool BAC and they have members from far and wide including Wigan. They have a site where you can advertise for crew for forthcoming trips,
matches etc. I'd imagine other clubs would have similar ?

Cheers liphook I’ve joined Roa Island Boat Club for the bigger boat its to heavy to be launching all the time ,got a mooring in the channel.

Hi Ray it’s called a Dory Fisherman and yes you could trawl with this boat.
