Gynn wall south of the cafe today

Postby Terry'sDaughter » 21 Aug 2019, 19:57

About 6 weeks ago I said to my dad that I wanted to try my luck at fishing so he gave me a rod and reel. So here I am a newbie. Today I armed myself with some freshly frozen black ( courtesy of pops who pumped me a supply last week) and took myself down to the gynn wall south of the cafe. I'm not the best at casting but I'm improving hopefully and each time getting a little bit further out. Anyhow here's a pic or two of my todays catch. Need to learn how to unhook the buggers now without getting into a fight with it!!!!

Well done Terry’s daughter. You have a great teacher with your dad, hope he has taught you about them there weavers he is an expert. With a little more practice you will be casting to the horizon, keep up the good work.

Thanks Pensioner Pete, rests assured I've heard all about those weavers, lets hope I equal his numbers of weavers - cod, he knows all about being beaten by his daughter before

Thanks Shacky I've been practicing the cod dance and he is the best !

Well done Terry's girl, the eel was certainly a challenge to unhook for a newbie, you'll soon be showing dad a thing or two :thumb:
