Eastham Country Park Tuesday

Postby abbo » 21 Nov 2012, 18:20

Always like November around this area usual throws up a few Coddies.

A peaceful quiet area to fish midweek :thumb:
I like to use big baits and 6 0 hooks. Coddies like it the bait lasts a bit longer more resistant to crab attacks
Coddies of around 2lb or 43 cms starting to show :thumb:

Two hours after low is best for me here ;)

Appear to be nice clean fish fresh into the river ;)

These two caught almost one after another using two rods one tip bounces then the other :cheer:

Had a nice pint in the Tap around the corner to finish off a nice session :D

Cheers all Abbo :D

Some nice codo's Paul, will be looking for some here only i'm making some big soft plastics to go on some ear ball jig heads. Never fished for cod with softies before but with the clear water i think they should work. :thumb:

Make a difference - take home one piece of someone's angling litter next time you are out fishing
