5 bar today
Fished 5 bar today 2 up and 1 down.
First outing of the winter but it didn't start well. I only had some dodgy salted lug and sqid, but I told my self that the dabs would love it.
Things got worse when I discovered than my main pack of worms was back at the van and first cast I threw it across the breakwater with the inevitable result
However on a positive note my new gadget (ground bait bowl) worked well and allowed me to keep all bait and hooks out of dog range.
There was a fresh westerly breeze and the sea looked ideal.
Unfortunately a blank was the result but it was nice and sunny and a great day to be out.
Sticking with the positive, I drove the 2 miles back to the van to discover that it had been persisting down for most of the afternoon.
