The Original SST Rods by Okuma!
Okuma Retired The Original SST Rods & Has Offered NEW Models Starting in 2022!
I've been using SST rods for whipping the inshore areas for Jacks to Bonefish for over 6yr. I was sad to see those caramel colored rods get discontinued. They were inexpensive yet reliable. Several new SST's are out now. I haven't tried them yet but i will. One model has double locking rings & the other is for traveling & comes with a travel tube. The 2 new models i have, the SST-S-1062M-CGA & SST-S-1064Ma are a greyish tone.
(The X20 spinning reel in the video is the Epixor EPXT20).
