My Only Strike This Past Memorial Day Weekend? Really?

The Whole Weekend Only 2-Strikes But Only 1 Fish to Release!
The last few weeks i was catching fish jigging from shore so i found myself dumbfounded this Memorial Day weekend when i had 1 decent strike that got off & the only fish i hooked shore jigging was the result of an accidental snag. And it sounded like he "farted" at me for hooking him as well. I know the Burr Fish was just displacing swallowed air but he wasn't happy that i hooked his eyelid. I safely removed the hook and released him back.
