I feel for you mate!
I've not wet a line in God knows how long, what with the chemo, surgery and now back on chemo.
Must make an effort and get back into fishing, because I've not been fishing, I forget to come here and I keep getting reminders from admin about kicking me off the forum.

While I've been out of the loop, I believe that things have changed in regards to the Ginn Wall parking permits.
I hadn't realised at the time, that I didn't get the usual reminder, so could someone please tell me what the situation is now? will they still have my details on record? I did have a permit for quite a few years running.

Hiya Frank. I hope your keeping well :thumb:
I put this post on not long ago..

*I don't know if anyone is on the Virtual Fishing Pass yet. So i will give you a bit of a heads up.
I have got another car and did the online change of vehicle notification with the council, that was yesterday.
Today, I received an email that my (new) car is now registered on the VRM Virtual Fishing (gynn wall) Pass.
All the details are kept on my Blackpool Council Online Permits Account. It is accessible by logging in to my account.
Which most of you should have had a letter to open an account.
So from now on, your number plate will be read instead.*

Oddly as it seems. I received a new window permit last week. So they are getting the best of both worlds.

I wouldn’t think the Council still have your details. You'd be best contacting them on one of the options below...

http://www.blackpool.gov.uk/parking

Tel..01253 476383

Parking Services
P.O Box 4,
Blackpool.
FY1 1NA.

I hope this helps you Frank and hopefully we'll see you down the Gynn soon :)

Thanks bud, I'll look that up.
The last lot of chemo really knocked the cr*p out of me, but this regime seems a lot milder.
Hoping to be able to do some of the things I used to do, but I don't have the energy I used to have.

Keep your fingers crossed for me mate!
