Lancaster Canal 26th July 2021

Postby dwkaraoke » 30 Jul 2021, 19:49

Monday morning and the wife was covering an early shift...so the ideal opportunity to try an early morning session on the canal...off to Forton but yet again totally weeded out....back in the car and headed south to bridge 69...clear of weed and a few fish moving.set up to fish the far bank ...only about 18 inches deep..but thats where the fish were caught steadily till the sun broke through the clouds about 9.30am then with the passing of three large barges..it all went murky and the fish stopped feeding.
