Lancaster Canal 21st & 25th June 2021
Double report this week from my favourite bit of the canal....
Monday 21st June feeling a bit chilly...temps dropped 6 degrees and the fishing was tough.
A few fish caught and a new species today....
Friday 25th June and back down the canal....my favourite peg covered in weed and the rain started...moved 100 yards down ... a little clear patch....but void of fish...had to put another two section of pole on to clear the weed and found a few fish.

Well done
a couple of nice bags of fish. Great to see a new species
I used to fish the Lanky around the Garstang area, lots of Ruffe were caught there. I actually hold the club record for a Lanky Ruffe.
