Half a Gynn...<º))))><

The afternoon tide had me down the wall a bit earlier. Being a bank holiday i was expecting the masses. It didn't happen. The weather was a bit on the cold side and fishing reports a bit thin on the ground.
So were the anglers..

Image

Paul came down to try his luck..

Image

As we started to tackle up a squall appeared from nowhere, bringing a good lashing of rain with it. I sat it out in my car.
Bait was shared and rigs set up and baited and the wait for water continued..

Image

As the gulley filled rigs were sent west. We did not wait long for bites, though connecting was another problem. Eventually Paul was in business, i had to wait a little longer..

Image

Flounder and weaver! not the roundfish i wanted, but as they say " Beggars can't be........................"
The ever present Dab was next..

Image

This was turning into a flattie session..

Image

Paul was 'Bending it like Beckham'..

Image

As high water approached another mud shark was on the wall..

Image

True to form the ebb was a non event for me again ???

Image

A couple of hours down was enough for us. Crab was the scoring bait and flappers complimenting the mix.
Summer fish next time.....Fingers crossed :fishing:
