Gynn with a little Oomph...<º))))><
My first fishing adventure for a couple of weeks and where better than the Gynn. Paul and Anton would be down there.
I struggled with bait today only getting Blackworm and Frozen Mackerel. These would be fished on Flappers and the ever faithful Steelwork.
The weather was not so clever today, with a fresh WNW wind, bringing lots of weed, wood and garbage with it.
I was playing piggy in the middle today, with Paul to my right..

And Anton on the left..

We held back casting in for a while hoping the weed would clear some. It was not to be, so we took our chances. I was forced to fish against the base of the wall for a while, the ever obliging Flounder had me on my toes..

Not long after the steelwork was doing it's job again..

That was it until near high water. But this little fella was a pleasant surprise..

High tide came..

And as it started to ebb, another species succumbed to the "Pat"..

Mackerel did it's job in the gulley..

What better to end the day..

Another of those little Turbot
Nice day. Weed a Pain. Company great. I'll be Back!

well fished shacky good to see the turbot increasing in numbers been quite a few out this week .
To say people call it the GRIM WALL the number of species and size at times it produces doesnt warrant it.
