Gynn wall 21/01
Everything looked set today, 8.5 mtr tide, North West wind, coloured water & a nice chop. There was a lot of weed about but luckily I didn't hook on to much.
It was about an hour in when my first
of the year came out, the ever accommodating flounder.
Just tucking into some grub at noon and another rattle produced a fat rockling.
After the top another slug.
Then not long after a 2nd flounder
All
caught on ragworm with small hooks, the big guns at distance had a bad day.
The guy next to me had a small codling & he said there had been a few out this week, so any of you off this weekend good luck for Mr elusive.

Flounder and slugs are better than blanking, with the water temperature of the sea being above normal the summer species won't be long
