Change of venue
After getting a Gynn pass last week I was intending having a trip to Blackpool yesterday ( Wed ), but reading reports decided not to make the 26 mile trip, instead went to Formby for a chance at a Bass, everything seemed right with there being a lot of west in the wind, I arrived at low water to fish about 3hrs up, there was plenty of bait showing and it Didn't take long to pump enough for the session, in fact I finished up with 40 to bring home for the freezer, the fishing was rubbish, not a bite in 3hrs, didn't like it when the bait was coming back untouched, if theres nothing out there taking the bait ( crabs and shrimps etc ) theres nothing for the fish to feed on so they don't appear, will give the Gynn a go next week.

That wasn't too promising considering everything looked good. At least you got some worm for your winter fishing expeditions
