To all,

Finally after 18 months of no fishing, it was time to start fishing the cssc Yorkshire region beach matches.

The venue Bridlington North beach on a 6.1 mtr tide high tide 1935, fishing 1630 --2130.

The match started in sunny clear blue skies and a flat calm sea, hopes were high for the 4 anglers who turned up that some fish would show up, but it was slow going until about an hour to go, when a few fish started to show.
Best fish was a smoothhound of 78 cms with two others of 63 and 59 cms being caught.

I won with 17 fish for 512 cms, 2nd had 204 cms 3rd 202 cms 4th struggled with 44 cms.

Baits used blow lug, live slaps tipped with mackerel or squid.
