A few of us are off to Whitby next week on a charter.... weather permiting that it. 3rd time lucky for this year. (Hopefully)

Has any one heard of anything decent being caught over that way lately.

Cheers

A couple of lads have been across at Filey about 20 miles south of Whitby, fishing the inshore wrecks.
Apparently every wreck contained plenty of Ling up to 12 pounds, pouting and the odd whiting.
All the wrecks produced some cod, the average size was 5.5 pounds with plenty fish around the eight pound mark. Best fish were 11lb 14lb and one just over 20lb, however an even bigger fish was though to have been lost.

Hopefully you should be in for a decent trip Lee :thumb: :thumb:
