It's a while ago but I've fished the Gynn Wall late at night with a mate, as we were setting up a lone angler came down to where we were and asked if he could set up about 30 yards from us as he wasn't keen on being on his own ..... no problem.
Later on we got talking and he was telling us of yobs visiting the wall on occasions so he always looked to fish near others rather than stay on his own, sensible move !

I recall a few years back there were reports at night of yobs on the Gynn lobbing big lumps of stone from the top aimed at anglers below and their cars. Certainly agree that fishing alone in that area is a no no as Blackpool has become home to thousands of scum who are attracted here to claim their benefits and be housed in the many slumlord bedsits in that north shore area.
