A Few Codling At last (Kingston Seymour)

Was down at the in-laws with the kids over the Easter holiday. Which meant i could fish an evening session from 20:00hrs to 23:00hrs at Kingston Seymour, located between Clevedon and Weston-Super-Mare. The tide to an age before it came in far enough before it was possible to fish as i am not a great at casting. Which was not helped with a stiff onshore breeze.
Glorious Bristol Channel Mud as far as the eye can see.
Bait used was rag worm, squid and sand eel on running ledger rigs. It was dead until high tide when i had a few bites but unable to hook the fish.
Was answering a text from the wife when i noticed i had a slack line bit so dropped the phone and landed my first fish.
Missed a few more bits then landed this on on another slack line bit.
All fish caught on rag worm.
