Well after saving like mad over the last few weeks decided to treat myself to some better coarse gear

Arrived at Gerrys and spent a good 45mins looking at many feeder rods ,reels and a new rod holdall as my other is past its best .Anyway finally after some great advice and discussions over the venues i fish the following was purchased

Frenzee Precision FXT 11 ft Feeder Rod
Frenzee Precision FMR 3000 reel

And the Frenzee Holdall ,excellent kit never felt a rod as light certainly packs some grunt ,roll on Foxhouses(Monday)

And took the mrs for a romantic costa coffee afterwards

no it was to busy so ended up at Sainsburys

Lucky man hope it fishes well for you P.S. which lake are you fishing on monday ? Might bob down if nowt crops up

Nice set up Jimsta. Never used the Frenzee gear but it has a good reputation. You wil feel the difference,enjoy mate.
