Gerry's new shop

A friend was telling me that Gerry's had relocated to another premise on the promenade at Morecambe, so on Saturday just gone I went bird watching to Glasson Dock and suggested to my wife that we went to Morecambe so I could have a look at the new shop and then go and get a sandwich to which she surprisingly agreed o straight away.
Now I did say shop which I think is probably the wrong word and would describe it more as a store, and couldn't get over the size of the place and the goodies that it held.
I resisted the the temptation to buy anything other than some small items that could be secreted about my person as to walk out and meet my wife with rather a long rod bag or box with a reel in it would have caused some problems and a lot of explaining.
If you haven't been to Gerry's since he moved premise I can recommend a visit but take my advise and go alone or with a friend and not with your wife.
