Message for Gerry

Thanks for the latest email it all looks fantastic.

The shop looks great, from outside it certainly tidies up the West End promenade. :thumb: It may not be for every visitor to Morecambe but Morecambe is not just for visitors. All year round trade is what is needed in this town, not places open for a few months then empty for the rest of the year. Inside your shop looks fantastic also, I can't wait for the winds to drop and I will be in. :cheer:

Parking may be an issue for some but, if they want what you sell, and they will, they will soon get used to it.

Well done and best wishes for the future. :champ:

Thanks Steve. :thumb:

Weather and parking doesn't worry me to much regarding the promenade shop, it is easier for me to get my power chair out of the car out of the wind and ride round. ;o)

I will be glad when these winds drop though, I haven't been out of the house for almost a week, getting from bungalow to car is biggest issue here. I think we have seen the worst of the winds, so fingers crossed I will get out and get to Gerry's. Need to check the sitting height of the Daddy Long Legs chair and then look at adapting my accessories to fit. I can't wait.

Another week or so I hope to have a bash at a little :fishing: again. It will be like starting again, not fished since August, not been able to practice over the winter months like some. ;) Although some of the pictures you put on here Steve were rough days. I could see why the trout were jumping out.

Cheers PJ; I spoke to one of the lads in Gerrys who did confirm that Korum don't sell extending legs.. However, Preston Innovations do, AND their extending legs now have a screw thread on the top to let you add attachments etc...??

According to the Korum catalogue they sell telescopic(extendible)legs @£19.99 a pair? which fit all Korum chairs?
The deluxe Accessory chair comes with these as standard now if thats any help :thumb:

Hi Jim

They do sell the legs but only for the older Korum chair, I have the new one.

Thanks for looking

That's interesting Steve thanks.

I will have a look online and then speak with Gerry's

I was looking at the Daddy Long legs, it is higher but is narrower. I cannot risk all my weight on one side and it going over. I had a fall in Lincs. last August and my wife struggled to get me off the floor, had to get help and I went through hell. Hence the reason we came back mid week and I have not fished since. I am now looking at the Big Daddy by Nash but it is all going silly money RRP £142 best price £120 so far on-line.

I am naturally considering all options so will look into the Preston's Innovation legs. I seem to remember asking last year and something was mentioned about these but I can't remember the outcome other than they wouldn't work on the new Korum chair I have.

Gotta find an answer. ???

Thanks again :thumb:
