We have some exciting news from Gerrys of Morecambe as we are proud to welcome a new addition to the Gerrys Sea Match fishing team.
We have managed to sign up Ashley Sampson to represent Gerrys of Morecambe’s Sea match team.
Fleetwood based Ashley comes with an impressive Sea Angling CV .He is also a current member of the England shore fishing team.
We have approached Ashley to come on board to help us develop new products and to aid us in expanding our ever growing Sea match fishing side of the business .Not only is Ashley at the forefront of what is going on and switched on to the new and exciting techniques that are being used in the Sea Match world to devastating effect,
But we will be able to glean the very latest tips and tricks to help us mere mortals catch more fish and put the enjoyment back in to fishing.
Having known Ashley for a number of years, watching him and listening to him talk about his fishing he is passionate about his fishing and is prepared to go that extra mile to accomplish his main goals … But the most important thing for us is he is a very likable and approachable guy who is prepared to share his ideas not only with other like minded anglers but also anyone who is prepared to go and ask.
So I’m sure that this will not only benefit Gerrys, but also our loyal customer’s and I hope it will help Ashley further his Angling Career
Ashley is not the only new addition to our Match team we will be announcing a few more high profile anglers in the coming weeks.

I've fished a few matches with him and had the pleasure of passing a bit of time when the fishing was slow and I will confirm that he is a likeable and very approachable fella with a good sense of humour. He loves his match fishing and is always thinking ahead and trying out new ideas to get that edge on his rivals, but he's also happy to pass on tips & tricks and has been very helpful to me & Steve so far. That's because he's beating us at the minute, wait til we win something, that nasty streak will soon surface......

That's a great "catch" by Gerry's, Ash is a very good Angler and a decent bloke.

Ashley Sampson is an amazing angler its speaks volumes that he now fishes for our nation, well done Ashley and lucky gerrys have him too, I'm sure you will both come up with some amazing ideas,

both partys happy and good luck in your new venture ash, you certainly deserve it after all the effort you put in over the years

Me and Steve are still waiting for our phonecalls I thinks Gerrys must have lost our numbers I'm sure we could take Ash under our wings and give him a few pointers........
