I decided to investigate the area in front of where the old battery hotel used to be. Before the regeneration of the promande this are used to be popular on the big tides with good catches of codling and whiting in the winter months. The jetty to the left hand side ( where the life ring is located) towards the end has no boulders at the base and a cast of around 50-70 yards puts you on to mixed ground the area before this is predominately sand. To the right hand side of the jetty there are boulders at the base which may result in a few lost rigs or so however you are casting on to clean sandy ground. I have attached the respective images, I hope this helps.
