courtown harbour 17/12/11

myself and fellow club member dave did a few hours off the harbour ,put out a few big mac eel pennels as a few spurs have been turning up in the boats,then went to cod baits but only hoards of whiting and dabs engaged our hooks ,4/0 wide gape pennels are no match for our dabs and whiting savages! :shock: i think i was killing about 5 whiting a cast when my lead hit the water so many its a wonder the lead even sank :evil:

Unlucky mate.... I have been playing with 6/0 mantas to try to keep the dabs and whiting at bay - Now i just blank :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: ;)
