fished our club christmas comp yesterday calm sea and cold weather with free entry and shopping vouchers + a cash pool for longest flat and round it is prob our most hard fought comp of the year managed second place with 25 fish won a 50 euro voucher nice!good bunch of lads who like their fishing bless em!

it was a whiting bash :oops: got one 33 cm coalie and a dab the rest where whiting,when its westerly here its flat as a pancake can't wait for a few easterly blows to get our cod in on the feed!!

So that's where all our whiting have buggered off to! :fish: :lol: :lol: :lol: we used to get some good size ones years back, the average size was usually 1lb+....now all we get are anorexic tiddlers :doh: what was the preferred bait then Rog? mackie? ???

blow lug tipped with mac and got lots on my own sandeels aswell ,they have come into their own after 4 months in the freezer ,nothing like packing 800 eels into the freezer for the rest of the year especially when they are still wrigglin 8-)
