2 nights on the Llyn Peninsular

Short break in Aberdaron with the Dearly Beloved enabled me to have 2 beach sessions from dusk to high water on Tuesday and Wednesday. (3 to 4hrs) Couldn't fish my first choice venue on Tuesday as there was 4 other anglers already set up and the weed was massed at the end of the beach I would have had to fish. So I went to Penllech instead and caught 8 Schoolies and missed quite a few decent bites. The other angler there caught 10 Schoolies and 2 coalies. Mine came on Black, he caught on blow lug. Wind was not that favourable but there was still decent surf and movement due to the big tide.
Wednesday the wind was all wrong flattening the sea, but as there's a stream running onto Penllech beach I thought it might prove a draw.
Well I only caught 1 Schoolies but missed numerous bites, just could not connect. Changed rigs, hook size and even put rod in the rest hoping they would hook themselves but to no avail.
An interesting session nonetheless under 10 billion stars. Not much light pollution so if it's clear it's just Magic to be there!
