A few hours on a 9.7m tide
Baits in at 13:00 last cast 14:30 in time to collect mrs and my dad from footie.
First time on the wall for me.
About 6 other rods already there.
I fished next to white sign in middle.
Mac on pennell pulley on heavy rod and frozen black mac cocktail on my spinning rod. Was able to give that a workout and it casts a 90g breakaway well even when giving it a good pull through. Rod tip is too soft though for bite detection in the swell. One 20cm whiting on the worm cocktail and lost a fish because my lines had crossed later in the session. Still my casting seemed to be comparing favourably with the chaps either side which was pleasing.

Guessing because of rocks that off the wall fishing is only possible at high water and also that around 9m is about right.

Was nice to take mum out for fresh air and she read whilst I failed to catch much. At least dad had a good time at the match though he told me the highlight was their pies at half time.

Note to self take a camera next time there was a lovely rainbow over the rod tops today.

Tight lines to all.
