GYNN - (Great Yesterday Not Now)

With an unexpected ridge of high pressure between storms it was down to the North Wall to see what was about. :fishing:

Weather improving

Storm 'Ciara' had left her mark. The boating pool a scene of flooded carnage and some sizeable lumps of concrete littering the promenade. Full marks to the council workers who cleared the prom over high tide. (Just in time for Dennis? )

The calm between Ciara and Dennis

It was quiet from the off. Fish were conspicuous by their absence and coffee breaks became long and frequent. Even the dreaded weed was only slightly irritating.
With anglers down the length of the wall, I expected to see a fish or two. However, the widest selection of baits didn't even attract the attention of a crab. Fresh bait out and back in, completely untouched by any aquatic life

A day for yarns and stories of what might have been.

Not a bite all day, blankety blank, a similar story to many others
At least the sun shone and made it a pleasant Febuary day. :cheer:

I think we’ve all been chomping at the bit, to get out and wet a line. Us weekend only anglers have no chance with this train of storms coming through.
But you got out there Turbo :fishing: and gave us an insight of what’s happened after the Storm
The fishing seems to be a non event all round, but congratulations on giving it a try :thumb:
