Whitehaven jetty

I am currently en route to Skye for my holidays. Stopped off at Whitehaven jetty with thoughts of increasing my species tally. Caught a Coaly weighing one pound. A Pollock.
Tried feathering for mackerel but to no avail. The Whiting were being a pain so I opted for a sizeable blue fillet on a pulley rig and launched it as far as I could.
Two minutes later saw a bite. Caught 2 mackerel. One hooked and the other tangled in my line round the gills.
Just a photo of the coalie and pollock. The Coaly has a straight lateral line and has a dark green back The pollock has a bend in the lateral line and has a more pronounced under shot mouth.
