alright lads

fished the town hall steps today in hope of a plaice for the species hunt

wind was really strong with the rods bouncing everywhere making it near impossible to detect bites

had a 3/0 pennel rig with crab on my new 14ft surf rod not even a knock

and a two hook flapper on the other rod lug and rag 2 bites two fish, a small flounder and a decent 33cm flounder. both fish returned

at least i got another species for the hunt i’ll get a plaice next time!

i’m sure you will agree it’s tough out there at the minute
