Earlish start this morning headed down to the Gynn to fish the last 2 hours of the flood and a couple of hours of the ebb and meet up with Tatey and Steve C.

When I got down there flat calm and water "gin clear".

One rod fished at distance with pennel rigs loaded with frozen peeler to see if any hounds about, other rods fished at mid and close in with flappers and urfe rigs. Bait was rag, black and fresh and frozen peeler.

First cat and fish a flounder on rag at mid distance

Nothing else till just after high when picked up small plaice close in

Then mid distance rod went and dab

That was it for me and nothing else on the ebb, others with similar results 2 or 3 fish each, but did give us chance for a :blah: :blah:

We did the late tide but fishing was poor. Nice to be out though.
