Fished Cleveleys last night on the Bullnose with Yellowrods (James). And it turned out to be very productive. Using a 2 hook flapper, One up one down with Shell on Prawn and Squid I managed to catch 4 very decent Dogfish as well as 3 Dabs. The tide was 8.5m and there was no wind so the water was very calm. I was casting 60-80yds and the takes from the doggies were taking the rod off the tripod in one instance !

All fish were returned.

Really enjoyed the session, They put up a scrap and they were unexpected and my first ever Dogfish.

I could of done with one of them last night on the gynn well done mate

nowt like afew doggies to keep the rod tips nodding (But not too many) nice session
