Newbie here

Hi everyone,
After 10 years of course and river fishing last November I decided to give shore angling a try and it's the best thing I ever did!
Got myself 2 Penn Rampage rods with 7000 Surfblaster reels but I'm still a complete novice.
I live in Bradford and have been over to Morecambe about 6 times on the jetty and near the lifeboat station.
I usually travel alone as everyone I know are into Carp fishing and they ain't into sea fishing.
Any tips or people to meet over there would be helpful.
Cheers.

Get yourself down on the Gynn Wall you can park up on the top and walk down or get a permit to park down on the wall :fishing:

Welcome aboard :yeah2: Personally I'd give the Gynn a wide berth but hey we've all got our own ideas of what we consider good fishing. Have a look at the venue guide on the main site :thumb:

Welcome to AA there are some great low water marks at Morecambe so don’t think you have to fish high water all the time, Ray, smooth hound, plus many other species.

Cheers for the info guys. I'm still learning but I'm getting the hang of it. Everyone has there own opinions on different types of fishing but it's the best thing I've done by giving it a go. Carp fishing isn't a patch on beach fishing in my humble opinion!
