we took the drop net with us, but we we were lucky because one of the swivels broke as we lifted it to the net,well worth the money a decent drop net

i loved fishing it but have stayed away for the last 6 years.

Its still standing and the gates are locked but you can get round the fence.I wouldn,t take kids on it but with care its ok.I was talking to one of the locals and he told me you can own the pier for £1 and the local council will give £70,000 towards its repair,you,ll only have to put another £700,000 to the repair cost.it makes you sick the amount of lottery funding available and we can,t maintain and repair these old piers. Probably one of the best,easy accsess fishing marks in the uk.
