How they are going to police recreational anglers beats me it will down to policing ourselves.Responsible anglers will abide by the rules but not everyone will.

Agreed Tel but it is a step in the right direction I think. Up to us all to play our part in educating and enforcement I suppose. Would have liked to have seen a commercial carcass tagging scheme and a ban on selling untagged fish imposed my self. Looking at those fugures I am surprised at RSA's accounting for 25% of landed catch
