The Ebbing Gynn...<º))))><
Down on the Gynn before the crack of dawn. A Northerly wind blasted along making the sea fairly rough and it was damned cold
I found a slot with plenty of room either side to the next angler. Paul appeared, having fished the previous tide, was ready to go on this tide.
Various rigs were employed, complimented with Swimmers, Frozen Black & Mackerel. The hunt was on..
We gave it our all, the weed and debris hampered the flood and connecting with a single fish was a non event.
Getting up towards high water, there was a little hope, as the wind dropped..
Just before high it was like a switch had been pressed. The fish started to make an appearance..
As the tide started to ebb, the sea looked just right..
And the exodus started..
We had a visitor, Senatorkenny came down for a recce also get some bait for his next adventure
The weather held out...Just..
Paul was still pulling them in..
The fishing continued 'till we packed in..
After i packed the camera away, the last rod out produced
So, there you have it..For once the fish prefered the ebb. They took all baits offered. Turned out to be a good day
All the Best for the New Year Take Care, Stay Safe and see you down the Gynn in 2021.
