Talacre. 23/05/19. Round Two.

A very early 6am start this morning
and what a stunning sunrise there was too welcome me back for round two
at talacre flat calm sea conditions and not a breath of wind.



i had already heard the lads did well last night
and i was in for similar results on the morning tide.

The First cast and the first hound of the day was out at 3lb
i had 6 smooth hounds down to low water all around the 3 to 4lb range.





Low water came and sandeel and bass were jumping about close in
so a quick change of tactic and i grabbed a bass for 1lb.



Things got tricky over low water and the mark i was fishing became a snag pit
i lost 3 hounds on the way in and another 3 sets of gear
but i moved 100 yards further down and took another hound for 4.12.0



The last cast of the day was the best Smooth hound coming in at 6lb



still not the big one i was after but a fun day out and a grate venue.
