sunny Morecambe

Met up with mike and roley at the Broadway at 6am.,giving us plenty of time to get sorted....Once on the beach the flounders were first to show but after an hour some nice plaice came on the feed with plenty of double shots.we fell just short of the 2lb barrier with mike and roley taking fish of 1-14-0 while I managed one an ounce bigger
Sport slowed on the hour towards low so we called it a day
...good to meet up with the boys again and to have our rods bouncing for a good couple of hours.ImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

Thoroughly enjoyable session. Not wet a line since early March and with 3 prior 'blanks' on the trot it was a great to see the rod tip moving again. Will be back later in the year when they have fattened up for some more 'spotty' fun.
