On the beach for 05.15 with Rowley and started to collect some bait to get us going.
Plenty of black & skelly to be had and some taken home for the freezer.
I was 1st in with a double of decent Flounder and Rowley quickly followed with a Codling.
Next up Rowleys rod lifted and a matter of seconds, so did mine. Was a double for Rowley with another Codling and a Bass and yet another Flounder for myself. Next to last cast I managed another Flounder and that was it at 10.15. Mad tide to fish as it was chasing us back to the wall, but catching made it worthwhile.
Funny thing is that last year I couldn't buy a Flounder, yet today, 4 all of a decent stamp.
No advance on Rowleys Species Hunt - forgot his card!
