Starr Gate 16 Sept

Not a lot happened. 2 Dabs & 2 Weever for me and a Dab for Rowley. Managed to put a few wraps down in the freezer though. Glad I was going the other way home last night as traffic was rammed solid for the illuminations at 8.45pm.

Well done on beating the blank, it’s proving difficult at the moment to find good fishing.

Its good you caught a few, but where are the codling there should be a few small ones showing by now, these big tides at weekend might get things moving, and even better if we get some west winds.

One of those in between times - end of summer but not quite into cod season yet. I've been out pumping lug the past few days and as you say the illuminations traffic is an issue. It's going to be a long issue too with the extension of the lights into January! Driving from Lytham to Fleetwood is a royal pain when the lights are on. Almost as quick to travel to Otterspool as Rossall :banghead:
