St George's Quay

Postby Padsta Tel » 16 Oct 2014, 19:57

Had a load of bait that I forgot to take boat fishing on Sunday been re wrapping it all week and just fishable so giving the river a bash with my little buddy Luca. High water 18/30 only 7/metre but what the heck only a trickle in the river. I was surprised it was flounders from the of first to me then Luca pulled a nice one in then me againImage

We were using 2 hook flappers with size 1 hooks.
Then Lucas rod bent double

So game on got beat by the Mrs last Sat,looks very likely gona get arse kicked again by a junior mind you I've been teaching home since he was 5 yrs old. Twitchy bum time Luca just a crack in knock but didn't connect.
Finished up a draw 3 fish each not bad for a couple of hrs.
