St. Annes 28 Aug
Excellent surf, so went out with 'Willpower' 1 hour before l/w to pump some worm and to fish it back up for a 3 hours. All baits untouched until about 20.00 when I managed a Flounder. However biggest excitement came when line zipped off the reel when crossing a run, unfortunately it was a seagull (well tangled) and it was not amused. Both fish and bird returned safely. Packed up at 20.30 when the wind became a little too sporty (plus tide racing in and lack of bites). 30 prime worm brought home for the freezer for the winter.
