Squires Gate LW 14/4/14

Postby Oldschool2 » 15 Apr 2014, 08:24

Arrived 2 hours before LW. Bait was frozen lug and bluey. For my first four casts it was a fish a cast, 3 codling (best 30cm) and a 40cm flounder. The bites slowed down during slack water but picked up again an hour into the flood but I struggled to hook what ever was giving me the aggressive bites. I finished with 1 further codling, this time on a fresh lug pumped off the beach.

It was a great evening to be out.
