Species hunt thoughts

Postby grandadruss » 15 Apr 2016, 17:42

Thought I'd add my thoughts to Jimsta's species hunt comp.
Seems to be just me and Jim battling it out at the moment on the freshwater hunt and to be fair AA is mainly a sea fishing site but as the Summer approaches hopefully more will join in the fray.
To be blunt,I'm not really ars*d if I win the comp or not,I fish for fun not for competition...but
It's great fun to hunt out the missing species, just for a personal thing as well as for competition bragging rights.
I'm off tomorrow to Mobberley pool in sunny Cheshire,why..??
Because there's Crucian carp,Mirroor carp,Tench,Rudd and Chub in there and there not on my list yet :banghead: :banghead:
Good fun searching out the missing species and I've found an Altrincham pool with Barbel in it so that's due a visit soon.
As I say it's good fun and makes the outing a little more interesting.
I'll be dancing on the bank if I catch a Gudgeon, now that'll be a first :thumb:
